Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.
We never sell or share your mobile number for marketing.

Who runs this program
Lifetime Medical Shift Texts is run by Lifetime Medical Support Services (Lifetime Financial Management Inc), a home-care agency at 235 Lonsdale Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island 02860.
The program is only for our caregivers and other employees. We text the mobile number each one gave us for work, after giving them a written notice about the program (see How caregivers are added). It is not open to the public, and we do not use it to text clients.
What we text you about
- Open shifts that match you: shift number, town, date, start time and length.
- A text when you are booked for a shift.
- A reminder the day before your shifts, asking you to confirm.
- An alert if your clock-in for a scheduled shift is missing.
- Replies to questions you text us about your shifts.
Texts never include client names, addresses or health information. You will see those details in the caregiver app after you take a shift. Some texts are sent by an automated system. Office staff read and answer replies.
We do not send marketing or advertising through this program.
How often
Message frequency varies. It depends on your schedule and on how many open shifts match you. On a busy day you may get several texts.
Cost
Lifetime Medical does not charge for these texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any of our texts at any time. END, CANCEL, QUIT and UNSUBSCRIBE also work. You will get one text confirming that you are unsubscribed, and then no more texts from this program.
You can also tell us in your own words, by text, by phone or in person. We stop as soon as we can, and always within 10 business days. To start texts again, reply START.
Texting is not a condition of employment. Stopping texts does not affect your job; the office will call you instead.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any of our texts. You can also call 401-333-3333 or email scheduling@lifetimemedical.org.
Replying is optional
You never have to answer a text on your time off.
Delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts may not reach you if your phone is off, out of range, or your carrier does not support them. For anything urgent about a shift, call the office.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
See our SMS Privacy Policy below for how we handle your mobile number and messages.
How caregivers are added
There is no separate sign-up. We text the mobile number each caregiver gave Lifetime Medical for work.
Before our first text, every caregiver gets a written notice about this program. New hires find it on its own page in the hire packet. Current caregivers get it on paper or by message from the office. We never send the notice itself by text. The notice says:
Lifetime Medical Shift Texts. Lifetime uses an automated assistant to text and call you about shifts at the number you gave us. Reply STOP anytime. The texts come from Lifetime Medical Support Services (Lifetime Financial Management Inc) and are about your work schedule: open-shift offers, shift bookings, reminders asking you to confirm your shifts, and alerts if a clock-in is missing. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. To stop calls, say "stop calling" during a call or tell the office. Texts and calls are not a condition of employment: stopping them does not affect your job, and someone from the office will call you instead. Texts never include client names, addresses or health information. Your mobile number is not shared with third parties for marketing. Terms and privacy: sms.lifetimemedical.org
Our texts come from our registered shift-text number, which we will list here once it is assigned. The first one says who we are and repeats how often we text, that rates may apply, and how to get HELP or STOP.
Want texts at a different number, or no texts at all? Tell the office, or reply STOP.
SMS Privacy Policy
This section covers Lifetime Medical Shift Texts.
What we collect
- Your mobile phone number: the one you gave us for work.
- Your notice record: when and how you got the notice about this program, and its version.
- Your opt-out record: when and how you asked us to stop texting you, or to start again.
- The texts we send you and the texts you send us, with dates, times and delivery status.
How we use it
- To offer you shifts, confirm and remind you of shifts, and follow up on missed clock-ins.
- To answer your questions and keep a record of work messages.
- To honor STOP requests and keep a record that you got the notice before our first text.
We do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as the company that delivers our texts, is permitted. Those companies may use it only to provide that service to us.
All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How we protect it
Messages, notice records and opt-out records are kept in Lifetime Medical's own secured systems in the United States, with access limited to staff who need it.
Because ordinary text messages are not encrypted, we keep client and health information out of texts.
How long we keep it
We keep message, notice and opt-out records as long as needed for scheduling and employment records, and as the law requires. Opt-out records are kept so we never text you again by mistake.
Your choices
You can stop texts at any time (reply STOP). You can also ask us what we have on file, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us below.
Our general privacy practices
This policy covers the text program only. Client health information is handled under our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which clients receive at admission.
